It's been very cold in the Dakotas; so cold in fact that
they have borrowed a Norwegian Icebreaker from Minnesota to unclog
the Red River starting over near Wahpeton, working its way north to
Grand Forks and Fargo. Here is the first picture of the icebreaker
as it begins the hard work required to break up the ice.
The first Norwegian Icebreaker heads up the Red River:
